Gratefulness in abundance. Even for the 1987 MsPacMan arcade game. For those of you who don’t know me… I wish iPad and iPhone didn’t exist and we just had cell phones to call each other. When we left work, work was over and we didn’t have a constant feeling of lack of productivity when we weren’t glued to our phones. I wish our kids didn’t want a phone more than anything else – but since they are mirroring us and we are GLUED to our phones it is all they want. I wish to remove the glue, and have often wished that video games were less addicting like the ones in the ’80’s seemed to be. And, well, it seems my thoughts manifested (thank you SB) when one of these showed up. Its brilliant. Slow. Pixelated. Not connected to the internet. And after a few games the boys left it and went to play a board game and help me stock the fire. Removing the glue and picking up the sticks, back in the woods.
